Happy birthday, Clara, from OPA and Mary
I was there on your first TaDa day. I carry the memories for you. Love you very much, OPA.
Hey Clara;
I have a card for you to start off the year. I will attach the video shortly. In the meantime, I want you to hear this song by James Taylor that I am learning to play on my guitar for you. Just so you know, I am always here for you and look forward to hearing about all the things you are learning about in your young age. Much Love, Opa
Mary loved pink and purple. When she was young, purple was her favorite colour. One Sunday, Mary, and Clara were out for a walk and passed by a dress shop that had a purple dress in the window. Clara, then Jack, fell head over heels in love with the dress in the window. Mary, being aware of the cost of such a dress tried in vain to interest Clara in any other dress in the window. Clara would have no part of it.
The next day they went to the store and again, Mary attempted to sway Clara’s thinking toward something less expensive. No go. Clara was adamant. Mary loved Clara so much and admired Clara’s clarity and bought her the dress. Here is a picture near the dress shop the day they bought it.
