Mary’s Wedding

Mary wanted Clara Marie Bee Lucid Boleyn to know she was conceived from a loving relationship and very much desired by both her mother and father.  As can be seen in this wedding video the day Mary and Darren were married, the love between them was very evident. Although times changed, Mary loved Clara beyond all imagination and measure.

The Wedding Dress

Starting in July 2006, Mary was planning for her wedding in November.  She wanted me to be part of the dress buying process because she knew I would not judge or critique. In her true TaDa manner, Mary showed her enthusiasm for the fun process. As we entered the dress shop in Kitchener, the sales girl said, Yay, the wallet is here. I informed her that Dads, me, would take offense to being considered no more than the wallet to pay for the event.

We had a great time that day. It was not until later that I discovered that Mary changed her mind twice about having red bows on the dress.

Mary w/ Waterwings

Mary loved to swim. When we lived in Fergus, ON, we had a swimming pool that she and Miranda spent hours together playing.

This is Mary at about four & a half with water wings. Mary and I took Clara to swimming lessons at the Guelph YMCA. Clara’s dad would sometimes come and swim with young Clara, or Jack then. Mary & I would talk and watch Clara swim. Clara loved the water as well.
