Mary loved stories. As she sensed her time getting closer, she would ask for others to tell her stories. As she often said when asked how she was doing, when you can’t breathe, nothing else much matters.
All along the way, Mary was always thinking of others and most importantly Clara. Her last few days with me were spent talking about Clara and how much she wanted her to know how much she loved her. This was on her computer and FB.

Clara, I want you to know that you have inside of you all the talent you need to accomplish great things. Always remember the one thing your mother gave you in addition to life, she gave you love and the ability to reach for the stars. Always remember that you are here because she reached for the stars. She reached for the impossible even when the impossible seemed impossible.
This is the hospice that came to support Mary in her transition from this life. They provided the physician requirements for her not to have any pain in her last days and hours. They provided nursing on-call. They provided bathing and bed care. They returned in the middle of the night to assist in preparing her for her last ride to the funeral home.
We were very blessed that they came and offered they support for no charge.
